Education and Experience

Jennifer received her BA in Human Relations from Milligan University in Tennessee and her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University.  She has additional training in IFS (Internal Family Systems), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), Trauma Recovery, Neuro-informed counseling, and Enneagram.

Jennifer’s therapeutic approach is holistic, encompassing emotional, physical, spiritual, relational and cognitive well-being. She values the power of a collaborative and personalized approach to treatment that addresses the unique and evolving needs and strengths of each individual.  She partners with clients to explore coping strategies, enhance resilience, connectedness, and foster a sense of well-being.

Jennifer approaches therapy with sensitivity and respect, recognizing the profound suffering that individuals may endure on their journey through trauma and life challenges. Utilizing trauma-informed care, including IFS and cognitive-behavioral approaches, she will collaboratively work with you towards healing, building resilience, relational health and cultivating hope for the future.

In her free time: Jennifer is a married mother of two grown children. She enjoys spending time with her large extended family in the Longmont area. In warm weather she loves to kayak, walk around the lake with friends, and hang out with her backyard chickens.  If it’s cold outside, she enjoys snowshoeing, connecting over coffee or curling up with a cozy blanket, a good book and the fireplace channel.
