Whatever brought you here, I am truly glad you came. It would be an honor to walk alongside you in your healing journey. You do not have to do this alone.

Reach out anytime—I am here, and I care.

How I Work
I practice through a trauma-informed lens, which means I recognize that your past experiences—including difficult or overwhelming ones—shape how you show up in the world today. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Instead, I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities to meet you where you are:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Helps identify and change thought patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) – Supports healing from trauma in a safe, structured, and evidence-based way.

  • Person-Centered Therapy – Honors that you are the expert on your own life, while I walk alongside you with empathy and support.

  • Narrative Therapy – Helps you explore and reshape the story you tell about yourself and your experiences.

  • Polyvagal-Informed Care – Increases awareness of how your nervous system responds to stress and safety, supporting regulation and resilience.

  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) – A goal-oriented approach that focuses on your strengths, resources, and what is already working. Rather than focusing primarily on problems, we work together to identify practical steps toward your preferred future and build on small, meaningful changes.

  • Faith-Based Counseling – For those who desire it, I integrate biblical truth and spiritual wisdom into our work together. While I offer tools, guidance, and a listening ear, I believe God is the ultimate Healer. My role is to create space for His healing to work through the therapeutic process, honoring your faith journey and inviting restoration into every area of your life—mind, body, and spirit.

I work with individuals (ages 12+) who are navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, major life transitions, identity questions, career changes, relationship challenges, and lifestyle decisions. If you are feeling stuck—mentally, physically, or spiritually—you are not alone, and there is hope.

Why Holistic Healing Matters to Me
One aspect that sets my practice apart is my background in education and health coaching. I have come to understand that mental health does not exist in isolation. The mind, body, and spirit are deeply connected, and research continues to show that healing in one area requires attention to the others.

That is why I do not focus solely on symptoms or coping strategies. Instead, I help you explore the whole picture—your thoughts, physical well-being, spiritual life, and environment. True healing happens when every part of you is nurtured and supported. For those who share my faith, I believe this healing flows from God, who wonderfully created you and knows you completely.

My Story
I was born and raised in California, where my passion for helping others began at an early age. I began my career as an elementary school teacher, working closely with children and families during some of their most formative years. Through this work, I developed a deep compassion for the emotional, behavioral, and spiritual needs of those I served.

During this season of my life, I experienced a deeper love for God and a growing desire to serve Him through ministry. This calling led me to pursue training as a medical missionary, where I learned to care for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—through a Christ-centered lens.

I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands, trusting that God was leading me in this direction. I saw a need, felt a deep passion, and recognized that I had the skill set to make a difference. Counseling became less of a career choice and more of a calling—a way to offer direction, compassion, and empathy to those who need it most.

Life Outside of Counseling
I am married and a proud mother of two teenagers. As a Christian, my faith is central to who I am. I value time with my church community as well as quiet moments with God in nature—whether walking, hiking, or simply sitting and reflecting on His goodness. I also enjoy reading and listening to content on spiritual growth, and I cherish time with family and friends.
